 Hanuman Dham:  There is a temple in Lucknow which is 400 years old and is situated on the banks of the Gomti River. There are more than one lakh statues and figures of Hanuman Ji here. This temple is mainly dedicated to Lord Shiva and Bajrang Bali Ji.






There are many temples in India and they have different specialties. There is a temple in Lucknow which is 400 years old. Beautiful statues of different gods have been installed everywhere in this temple. Not only this, Hanuman Vatika has also been built here and it is very beautiful and there is greenery everywhere.

This temple was built by Rajasthani artisans.




The name of this 400-year-old temple located in Lucknow is Hanuman Dham. This temple was established by Guru Narsingh Das. Uday Sinha, Sanjay Sinha, Vijay Sinha have also contributed a lot in building this magnificent temple. The special thing is that this Dham was built by the artisans of Rajasthan. The statues on the walls of this Dham, which are made of stone, also look very beautiful.

This Dham is mainly dedicated to Hanuman Ji and Shiva Ji but there are many beautiful statues of Hindu Gods and Goddesses in this holy Dham. As you can see above, all these statues are of Hanuman Dham Temple only.

When was Hanuman Dham Temple built 

This temple is 400 years old, but it was beautified by the Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, Shri Yogi Adityanath Ji Maharaj in 2022 and then Hanuman Dham was inaugurated. Not only this, this Dham is also a big tourist place of Lucknow. Thousands of devotees come to visit this temple every day. According to beliefs, by worshiping Hanuman ji here, God fulfills all the wishes of the devotees.

Hanuman Dham is very special 

There is a 400 year old statue of Hanuman ji in the sanctum sanctorum which is very supernatural. Hanuman Dham is spread over about 7 bighas and the beauty of this Dham is that 1.25 lakh small and big statues of Hanuman are installed here. In this temple, the old statue of Hanuman is east facing while the new statue is south facing. You will be surprised to know that a 108 feet long statue of Hanuman has also been installed here which looks very amazing. Apart from this, there is a very good statue of Mata Durga ji.

In this temple, you will find around 125000 statues of Hanumanji in different postures on the walls everywhere. This temple is very crowded on Tuesdays.
