UPSC का syllabus देखकर बहुत से aspirants घबरा जाते हैं — "इतना सब कैसे पढ़ेंगे?" लेकिन सच यह है कि UPSC का syllabus उतना scary नहीं है जितना दिखता है — बस उसे सही तरीके से समझना होता है।

बहुत से students बिना syllabus को ठीक से पढ़े तैयारी शुरू कर देते हैं। नतीजा — वे ऐसी चीज़ें पढ़ते रहते हैं जो UPSC में आती ही नहीं, और जो आती है वो छूट जाती है। यह सबसे common और सबसे महँगी गलती है।

1. Syllabus को "Map" की तरह क्यों देखें?

एक traveler जो बिना map के चलता है, वो या तो भटक जाता है या बहुत लंबा रास्ता तय करता है। UPSC aspirant के लिए syllabus वही map है।

Syllabus आपको बताता है — क्या पढ़ना है, क्या छोड़ना है, और कितनी गहराई से पढ़ना है। जब आप कोई भी किताब या article पढ़ें, तो पहला सवाल हो — "यह UPSC के किस paper के किस topic से जुड़ा है?"

UPSC का official syllabus PDF print करके अपनी study table के सामने चिपकाएं। हर topic पढ़ने के बाद उस पर tick करते जाएं।

2. Prelims का पूरा Syllabus

Prelims में दो papers होते हैं — दोनों Objective (MCQ) type के। यह सिर्फ एक screening test है।

📄 Paper 1 — General Studies | 200 अंक | 100 प्रश्न

• Current Events — राष्ट्रीय और अंतरराष्ट्रीय महत्व की घटनाएं
• History of India — Ancient, Medieval, Modern + Freedom Struggle
• Indian & World Geography — Physical, Social, Economic
• Indian Polity & Governance — Constitution, Rights, Panchayati Raj
• Economic & Social Development — Poverty, Inclusion, Demographics
• Environment & Ecology — Biodiversity, Climate Change
• General Science — Physics, Chemistry, Biology (Class 10 level)

📄 Paper 2 — CSAT | 200 अंक | Qualifying (सिर्फ 33% चाहिए)

• Comprehension — Hindi और English passages
• Logical Reasoning & Analytical Ability
• Decision Making & Problem Solving
• General Mental Ability
• Basic Numeracy — Class 10 level Maths
• Data Interpretation — Charts, Graphs, Tables

⚠️ ध्यान रखें

CSAT में सिर्फ 66 अंक लाने हैं — इससे ज़्यादा भी merit में नहीं जुड़ेंगे। GS Paper 1 आपकी असली battleground है।
